Lidiane;

ACTIONS: We opened with a word of prayer by one of the students (Eliete), after that we played the music Heart of Worship. We read all the versions of John 3:16 that we found in the website http://www.biblegateway.com/ and discussed a bit about the differences in the passages. At the end of the class we presented to the students the video that we will use in the next class ‘Is Genesis Relevant for Today - Part 1’, from the websiet www.answersingenesis.org. We just showed the begin of it.

HIGHLIGHTS: The music played in the class and some others that we will bring in the future is part of our intention to practice them with the students so that they may be able to sing them outside the classes in some other special moments that we will be talking in the right time. We will keep studying the way the Bible is arranged, but the subject about creationism will be very explored due to its strong appeal. It was also very grateful to see the students interest in contribute with the development of the classes. Lidiane Barbosa brought some more musics that we can use in the future. Eliete brought some magazines (RTS Reformed, Creation, Answers Update and Answers). We suggested the students to see the video proposed during the week so they will get acquainted with it and we will be able to discuss it in the class. This will be the first task in the next class.

HOMEWORK: 1) invite people from outside church to come; 2) search for names and their meanings in the Bible; 3) search for famous passages in the Bible; 4) study the various versions of John 3:16, choose one of them as the best in their perspective and discuss the others next class; 5) have a look at the websites www.answersingenesis.org and teologiaselecionada.blogspot.com/, because these sites bring many concepts on what we discussed in the class relating to creationism; 6) To watch the video ‘Is Genesis Relevant for Today - Part 1’ during the week to be discussed in the next class.

WEBSITE: Take a time to visit our website www.ipjaguaribe.net (sorry, meanwhile is only in Portuguese).
